I have a Bathroom sink overflow that has been clogged for over 20 years! I realized I need it to have it working properly so I have been trying to "Open It up" I have tried using CLR and the sharp end of a coat hanger wire but no go. Is there a small snake or tool that can be attached to a drill to bore out the clog? I don't know what other chemicals I could use. Thanks

The next step secret to getting more of this faucet apart are the two slots cut across the cupped part. See the arrows in the following picture.
It looks to me as that the cupped part is threaded down inside the larger diameter part that sticks up from the hole in the sink. There is probably a special tool used to engage these slots to thread the part out. It may be possible to lay a piece of metal bar stock across these slots as a tool. If you do that make sure that it has nice square corners.
You could go the route of having no switches in the bathroom, and only a plug and switch upstairs Loft.
Step 1: Get a standby plug adapter, which will shut off power to the TV when its in standby mode. this will reduce electrical risk, fire and save power. - the unit has an infra-red reset switch, so when it senses your remote IR beam, it will energise the TV up again.
That way, all you need to do, is turn the TV off when you are done. and don't think about it anymore.
Step 2: You can actually look at the new Samsung Smart TV's with motion sensor on/off switches. all you need to do is wave your hand near the Samsung logo and the TV Will switch on/off...

If you can get a plunger to seal over the overflow hole, you might be able to force some air in there, or vacuum some air out, and dislodge the clog.
These things are very inexpensive and might work where the wire hanger did not. Some are more flexible, some are pretty stiff. You might also try a flat steel drain snake, just be careful and don't apply too much force.
