I'm planning on installing a smart dimmer switch but I'm not sure of the best way to connect the neutral wire. The outlet has 3 neutral wires bundled in a push in wire connector. What's the correct way to use neutral wire in this case?
Should I pigtail a new wire into the existing push-in connector or replace it with a wire nut?
Since the existing install is using black wires as grounded (neutral) conductors, you should start by rewiring the original circuit to be code compliant.
Then you'll wire the new dimmers in like this.
With the dimmers installed, you'll have something like this.
You'll notice that T2, that runs from F to DD is not labeled. This is because I'm not sure which wire it is in your photos.
Yes. If you choose to use push-in type wire connectors, you can insert 1 to #of_ports wires into them.
As mentioned in the comments... Some folks don't trust these push-in devices, because of the failings of their back-stab brethren. These devices are listed, and allowed for use by the National Electrical Code. But you have to keep in mind, so were the failed back-stab connectors. So use at your own risk.

That type of connector has a fourth hole. I'd use it.
