Does anyone know what amp fuse is in a Heath/Zenith security motion sensor outdoor light has. The unit has a little fuse which is ceramic type fuse with markings on the silver ends, with ( F2H 250V ) on it. I have looked everywhere but no joy.

This is an obsolete socket type called a parallel and tandem socket, and is designed to accept either standard parallel plugs without a ground or older tandem style plugs (again without a ground):
None of the connections is a ground - it consists of 2 pairs of hot and neutrals, one oriented vertically, the other horizontally. If there is a ground wire to the box (which I doubt), this can be replaced with a standard 3 prong outlet. If not, you'd have to find a way to get a ground into the box.
You should be able squeeze one of the connection heads and pull them apart. Some light kit also have a little tab on the side of the connector that have to be push in or pulled apart to release them.

It's a 2 amp fast acting fuse with high rupture current rated for 250 volt AC circuits. To find one you also need to measure it's length (often 20 mm). Common sizes: -
