I have a microwave oven which timer button is broken. I would like to fix it (by using glue?) or replace it (with a similar "key"). The oven is a Samsung M1714.
However, I am afraid of making things worse if I try to repair it, and I do not know any shop where I could buy something similar. I noticed there is the number 3 written on the inside of the broken piece.
Do you know an online shop for this kind of thing?

On numerous occasions I have had to cut hollow core doors off more than the available blocking in the top / bottom of the door. What I have done in these instances is to take the cut off bottom piece and then reclaimed the inner block for re-use. If a table saw is available it is quick work to set the fence just right so that a couple of rip direction passes cleanly cuts off the outer laminations. Alternatively the laminations can be removed using a plane.
Once the block is nicely cleaned up it can be glued and slipped right up into the open bottom of the door. Use a couple of 1x4 boards on either side of the door and some good sized C-Clamps to tighten up the glue joint so that the glue can dry without any gaps.
Note that often the inside of hollow core doors has an internal webbing of cardboard material to bridge the gap between the two lamination skins of the door. Sometimes it is necessary to use a chisel inside the cut open bottom of the door to scrape back the glue joint of this web material on the laminated panel. If this is not smoothed out the re-claimed bottom block will make the laminated sides bulge out when trying to glue the block in place.
The surprising (to me) answer may be ABS cement. You probably won't find this in the hardware store glue isle, instead head over to plumbing:
You'll want the smallest can possible (e.g. 4oz), and after use to seal it in a zipper lock bag and store in a cool dry location. The stuff goes bad in the can pretty fast.
The ABS cement worked for me far better than any of the other glues mentioned above. You can also cut out a small piece of ABS drain pipe, or other ABS item, to use as a patch for the repair.
Note that ABS cement is a mix of a solvent and ABS powder: in the end you really end up welding the plastic more than gluing it. For this reason clamping is recommended.

I have repaired dials similar to this in the past.
I have found that if you apply some CA glue (super glue) or epoxy to the crack, and then wrap the outside of the shaft tightly with electrical tape, it will hold up under most circumstances.
Failing that, it appears that you can buy the replacement knob from several online suppliers.
