I have a pair of Sony speakers that I’m not quite too sure on how to hang on my wall. The backs look like this:
Would I just put a screw in my wall and hang it up like that? Would there be enough room for the speaker wire in the back?
What’s the best/correct method of hanging speakers like this?
Get yourself some shelf brackets and attach them to your wall into studs. Work out the spacing of the brackets for your screen. The brackets look like this:
Attach some 3/4" hardwood (oak, maple, etc.) planks to it to make a nice looking shelf. Attach the screen underneath the shelves which should conceal the hanging brackets and give you the clearance away from the wall you're looking for. You may want to drill a hole through the shelves and attach the screen using bolts and nuts instead of screwing directly into the wood shelves. You can also use the shelf to display some cool movie knickknacks.
You could also build something fancy using a French Cleat if you have the skills and tools.
You're not showing all the pieces. What we see is a curtain rod and the center support.
There are brackets for the end that the rod hooks over.
Pictured is a dual curtain rod hanger bracket. The hole in the rod catches on the tang and it drops down onto the bracket.
The answer to your problem might be shown in the picture, use a nice board that spans across the window opening about six inches above. Use screws to hold it to the studs and then mount the curtain to that using stronger screws than came in the hardware pack. Graininess of the cellphone picture doesn't do the spar varnish finish on the hemlock board any justice.
For spanning that window (10') there are heavy-duty three piece curtain rods constructed exactly like these but with two of the screw-in supports available in addition to the end brackets.

However you like, as long as there's a suitably-sized screw head present.
That slot you see is designed to accept a screw with a head (or similar stud) that fits the wide part and a shaft that fits the small part. As long as you meet those requirements you're good.
Whether you facilitate wire hiding is up to you. Low-voltage boxes and plates can work well, or simply a round grommet set into the wall. Be sure there's not a stud where you cut the hole.
I'd consider putting some felt or silicone pads on the back of the speaker to reduce vibration noise and finish damage.
