I have zoned heating/AC/heat pump. My original thermostat on the wall is NOT connected to any wires, in other words it is wireless. I thought it had wires so bought the new Nest thermostat. Unfortunately when taking the original thermostat off the wall discovered it has no wires connected to furnace. Is there any way I can still hook up the Nest thermostat since there are no wires from the furnace to the original thermostat?

I fixed it myself. In the manual (page 18) there is the following image.
As shown on the photo in the question:
From left to right: The red "bridge cable" is meant to close the circuit in order for the next two (bus +/-) to work. But the bus connectors only work with with an eBus system. Which is not compatible with the Nest Heatlink.
The two wires that are used to connect the boiler to the heat link (the left brown/blue wires) should be connected to the 4/3 connectors instead. So after removing the red bridge cable and connecting the heat link to 4/3 of the boiler, it worked fine.
Disclaimer for those with the same problem: I'm not a electrician, although I did check the solution with one. Try this at your own risk.
Broken Nest
Either the output driver for the W output on your Nest is toast, or the Nest's solid-state output drivers can't put out enough current to drive the load of your system. Try switching the wire connecting the Nest's W output to the Nest's G output and seeing if turning the fan on causes the boiler to fire up. If it doesn't, then you can't use the Nest with your setup, sorry!

You would need to hook up the nest thermostat where the wires are. This might be right next to your furnace. The nest might not work the best there. You can also buy some thermostat wire and pull it through the walls to a better location as well.
