I live in a dorm and my ceiling lamp died, i wanted to know how to remove this cover?
it is attached flush to the ceiling, i tried rotating it both ways and also tried pulling it, but it wont come off.
I noticed that its feels a bit springy when I pull it, but I fear i will break it if i pull it too hard.
can anyone help me??
It looks like it just pulls down, there are usually little springs that keep it in place. Like the one pictured below
I think I found the mechanism: There's a small hole to insert a screwdriver or something, which kinda keeps the wire in place. One of the wires required a bit more force then the other, that's why I was confused, but this seems to do the trick:
