Kitchen faucet sometimes water comes out and then sometimes it trickles out or nothing comes out at all. Took off aerator and water came out without any noise.Put in new aerator and now have same problem with no water sometimes or
very little water flow.
Anyone have an idea of what the issue is? This faucet is a one handle

It appears that the problem returns after a new aerator is installed. I would put in a water filter. If you are handy you can put a whole house filter on the main water supply ( or hire a plumber ) or just a point of use filter under you sink but you would need two, one for each hot and cold.
Original answer: You can purchase new aerators for some faucets. You can also take yours off and soak in in a lime dissolving solution. You can actually take some of them apart and clean the different screens and parts with the solution and toothbrush but you need to record exactly how they all fit together to put it back in proper working order.
