I have a very small home ( about 50 m2 ). Currently in my bedroom I have 2 desks and 3 bookshelves, but there is no space for a bed ( my wife wants to kill me 😀 ). The bedroom size is about 12 m2 and the public room is about 18 m2.
What can I do for my bed?

Yes. You can use slats instead of a box-spring. It will be a LITTLE bit stiffer, but it's perfectly fine and you'll love how your bed squeaks less. Here's a pic from an Ikea bed frame assembly guide - just as an example:

You could get some ideas from Resource Furniture designs. I have a feeling they're a little pricey (you've got to request quotes), so you may just be able to look at some concepts they have and make a DIY version.
