There's some spots on my vinyl siding that have gotten dirty. Unfortunately these spots are pretty high up– about 15-20ft up. What are the best way to clean these spots? Would a power washer aimed up at the siding be a good idea?

Put in a garden sprayer designed for bleach according to instructions on Jomax:
- 3/4 cups Jomax
- 2 1/4 cups bleach
- 13 cups water
For 75% of the siding, I applied the mixture, then rinsed after 5 minutes. A number of sections needed a second application, and the worst section took three.
I rinsed using one of the "fireman" nozzles on my hose, just so I could get it up to the eaves:
I did try just spraying the mildew with the nozzle...worthless. "Firemen" should sue for defamation.
Anyway, I'm thrilled. Probably took 25% longer than last year, but I wasn't dripping wet either :) I'll get a power sprayer for next year, but I'll definitely stick with this; it looks much better than what I get from pressure washing alone.
Yes, the pressure washer will dig out the sand between the bricks. I would not recommend it.
I would suggest a stiff brush with dish detergent mixed with water. If that is not strong enough try some professional paver cleaning products from your local home improvement store.

I use a brush and pole for washing RV's. The pole is a telescoping one usef for painting. I stand on a tall stepladder and the combination can reach pretty high. Lowes had the RV brush. So I spray on some soap, brush, and then rinse.
