I live in a tiny place. I recently found a dehumidifier that could be placed outside. It has sensors that can be placed inside and connect to the dehumidifier.
Does it make sense to put the dehumidifier outside (so it will suck outside potentially humid air) and send the dry air into my place through a ventilation pipe ? Will this actually dry my place, as opposed to placing the dehumidifier inside ?

However, I would seal the floor first (which I did) with a wateproofing product like Drylok.
One caution - do not seal the floor under a water pressure tank or filter system that sweats in the summer. Condensation from these systems often drip down and dissipate through raw concrete, but will pool if you seal it.
Keep the dehumidifier going. The moisture is still in the soil surrounding the foundation and will probably still percolate through the walls.
The simplist solution to dehumidifying in an area with no drain is to use a dehimidifier with a built in pump such as this one:
It has a long thin tube that can be routed to an area with a drain (such as a washing machine drainpipe) or to the outside (through a window frame or a very small hole drilled through the wall). If to the outside, you need to direct it away from the foundation.
There are a few versions available and they tend to cost a good bit more than a simple tank type, but the convenience may make it worthwhile.
If you already have a good dehumidifier and don't want the expense of replacing it, you may be able to use an add-on dehumidifier pump such as this one
It is hooked up to the demidifier and then uses a thin tube to move the water in the same manner as a pumping dehumidifier.

Your question is fairly broad without device information, but the theory is sound. You essentially pressurize your home with dry dehumidifier exhaust to expel humid interior air. This depends, of course, on your home not being perfectly sealed. This isn't a problem as no home is.
The challenge will be ducting the air into your home in such a way as to not create new leaks that will negate the benefit of the dehumidifier.
