What is a 'murphy bar'?
Googling it, I found it mainly as a drinking bar; a liquor cabinet that folds down, like a Murphy bed.
Is it just a generic (dis-used?) term for prying under something to move it? I've heard tell of crow-bar like tools with wheels on them for this purpose and I'd swear I've seen them in catalogs. Am I using the wrong name?
To cut 0.4mm acrylic board I recommend a utility knife. What you do is draw a line for the cut, rest a straight edge on the line, then "draw" a line down the straight edge with the utility knife while putting only slight pressure down. You repeat this a few times until you have created a groove in the acrylic. Then you can begin pressing the knife down harder, and repeating until you cut through it.
To cut PVC pipe you can buy a cheap tool at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. that is quick and does an excellent job. The Kobalt 1/8-in to 1-1/8-in Copper Tube Cutter is an example.
As for a rotary tool, in my experience they are not very useful. The bits typically break easily, and dull quickly. The go-to tool for odd cuts for me is the Sonicrafter. There are a lot of other oscillating tools too. This tool makes cuts you just cannot make with any other tool.
There are a mix of tools, #1, 8, 9 and 12 are center punches for marking metal prior to drilling. #2, (bent) 5, 6, 10 and 11 are drifts for driving pins, compression pins, door hinge pins too. #3 and 4 could be nail sets for driving finish nails below the surface of wood, but I cannot see the tip which should be "cupped" if they are a good set. #7 is a chisel of a sort, whether it is used for masonry or other hard material, it is very small and the grind on the tip almost makes it look screwdriver like, though it does not seem likely.

It's a long wooden bar, about 5' long, about 2" round at the top, tapering larger to about 6"x2" oval at the bottom, with (usually) steel wheels, and a steel "lever" at the bottom. Kind of like the design of a hand-truck.
It's used for moving or shifting heavy items.
