Will the wiring setup work with the Nest Thermostat
thermostat
I would like someone who is smarter then me to let me know if this current wiring setup would work with the Nest Thermostat?
Thank you for your help

You should take a look at the Nest Compatibility Checker to be sure. Based on having G, Y, W, R, and a jumpered Rc wire, it looks like your setup is compatible.
Note that Nest has an internal battery and does not require a C (Common) wire, but it is better to have one if you able to add it (with a currently unused wire, for example).
One big thing to remember about Nest is that it is a low voltage thermostat. Therefore, it can't be used on a typical heating system in the UK (say) as we tend to have 240V connections to thermostats and timers.
Check the voltage of your existing thermostat/timer. If it's a low voltage one then Nest should work.
Had someone come look at it last night. It was the capacitor on the unit. (Said that the top was bulged meaning it was bad) He replaced it, works like a charm! $100. I was convinced the whole thing was going to need replacing!
