In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, it is possible to kill your teammate in the Hardcore game mode.
What I want to know is whether or not my scorestreak meter resets if one of my teammates accidentally (or intentionally, who knows) kills me in the field of combat. I wouldn't be too entirely sure because my first scorestreak is the Cerberus and the game mode limits the player's HUD.
If Black Ops 2 is anything to go by, when activating prestige, everything will get reset with the exception of weapon levels and camo's.
It may also be worth noting that Specialists, Weapons, Lethal, Tactical, Perk 1, Perk 2, Perk 3, Wildcards, and Scorestreaks are all permenantly unlockable using the token.
This is also some information I found regarding Prestige:
Fresh Start resets your stats to the point it is like you never played a single game of multiplayer. It resets your kill death and score per minute. The only thing that you do get is a title for it. I've used fresh start before and after I used it all my stats, challenges and titles were gone besides the one you get for actually using the fresh start.

In hardcore mode if someone on your team accidentally kills you, your scorestreak meter will reset. Here's some other peoples opinions on Reddit.
