In Pokemon Quest, decorations acquired provide a bonus, whether they are set out at your camp or not. What's unclear to me is, do decoration bonuses stack? For example, the Dodrio Tent effect is "Size of Gray Ingredient Drops X1.5", and the Mechanical Tauros effect is "Size of Gray Ingredient Drops X2".
So, does owning both mean I get X3.5, or is it pointless to own the Dodrio Tent?
According to this gamefaqs thread, the white star indicates the Pokémon is shiny. A shiny is an alternate color of the original form. As seen in the two images below, a shiny Rhyhorn has a white star while a regular Alakazam does not have a star.
Yes. The Attack stat affects the moves in addition to the non-move normal attacks. If you use a move from a low level Pokemon, and then use the same move from a much higher level Pokemon, you will notice a substantial difference in their damage output.
It is important that the moves deal more damage with a greater Attack stat, since with a set damage output, otherwise the move would deal too much damage when Pokemon are at low levels, too little damage when Pokemon are at high levels, or both (in a similar vein to the move Dragon Rage in the mainstream Pokemon games which always deals 40 damage).

They stack, but having the Dodrio Tent and Mechanical Tauros won't grant you X3.5 grey elements drop, but X1.5X2 = X3 drops
