Do these two primate characters come from their own game

I've always wondered whenever I play Poker Night 2 where these two gorilla characters come from.
Do these two come from their own game/series?

These character appear as villains in Telltale Games' new(ish) Sam & Max -series.
Specifically the 3rd season, The Devil's Playhouse, 1st episode, The Penal Zone, where
Intergalactic gorilla invader Skunk'ape sets his sights on unhinged
rabbit Max.
The one in the car is the above mentioned Skun'ape, and the other one is one of his minions.
It's not cheating. The game has no motivation to cheat! Why would we
write cheating code into a game which is only fun when it's authentic?
There's no money on the line, only unlocks which we want you to have.
No cheating, I promise.
Speaking as someone who waded through much more of the poker code than
our lead programmer was probably comfortable with, I can say this with
a nigh-absolute degree of certainty: The amount of extra work that
would be required to make the the game cheat (even a little bit)
would've prohibitively annoying.
And like Jake said, cheating would gain us nothing.
I feel your pain. It seems like the conversations in Poker Night 2 are not only more frequent, but far more repetitive than in the original; adding an additional character (GlaDOS) to the mix only increases the chatter.
Also, there's another unfortunate change that was made from Poker Night at the Inventory to Poker Night 2; there is no dialogue skipping during play or conversation frequency setting in the options menu. The best you can manage, sadly, is just muting the game.
Disclaimer: I uninstalled this game a short while back, so it's entirely possibly, though unlikely, that they've patched the option in. I did some searching and people are still having the same complaint everywhere, leading me to believe this is still an issue.
