So I was fighting the Draugr Wight Lord at Silverdrift Lair, and he used the Disarm shout on me and made me drop my Elven Bow. I didn't notice at the time because I switched to a sword right after that, but now that the fight is over I've searched all over the Word room and can't find my bow. Am I screwed? I thought Disarm was supposed to just disarm you, not make your weapon disappear.

Here is what you need to know about Draugr Wight Overlord:
- He uses the disarm shout. Its really annoying when he does so, especially against Lydia as NPCs typically don't go and pick up their weapons and will end up standing there. Try giving her a nice staff and/or bow to use so she's out of the shout range instead.
- He's immune to poison and resists frost, so stick with fire or lightning.
- They hurt a lot up close with their enchanted weapons, and they have high armor.
Here are some typical strategies to use:
- Take advantage of the traps in the dungeon. If there are any traps nearby, lead the draugr to it and have it hit them repeatedly. You mentioned the fireball traps, position yourself so the lord is between you and the crystal.
- Take advantage of your own shouts, you can buy yourself some time by using just the FUS part of unrelenting force to stagger quite often (even better if you have the amulet of Talos and Talos' blessing). Throwing in the bash from your shield to stagger them even more.
- Find some open spacing. Other than the shout, the wight lords have no ranged attack, prick them to death with arrows. (This is harder to do if you intend on saving Lydia as she'll most likely die).
- Give Lydia ranged attacks and just kite the lord around while keeping his attention.
If all else fails... turn him into a sweet roll
I did some looking and there appear to be a good variety of glitches in which dragons can die. Some of them might fit your scenario:
Dragon flies (glitches) into ground and dies. Thunder sound, death throes animation, dead. No soul absorbed but this guy was pretty far away and never engaged the dragon:
There are a few recorded accounts of dragons dying when they land. This one shows a dragon that was at full HP who lands, dies, and the soul is still absorbed:
Same case as before, but the dragon was damaged:
There are plenty of other videos in which dragons die as the result of glitches, but I think that these three best match your scenario out of all of them. Let me know if this helps!
Here is an example of a dragon simply spawning dead in front of a player; the "dead dragon glitch" you mentioned earlier. This one doesn't match your scenario too well, but appears to be fairly common:
For the sake of showing that it appears to be possible, here's a video showing two dragons going at it (uhh... fighting):

Disarm does not make your weapon disappear.
Unfortunately, Draugr usually live in the dark, and it can be very hard to find individual anythings in Skyrim, let alone in the dark crannies of its dungeons.
So your bow won't have simply vanished, and should be findable, if you want to devote the time and effort into locating it.
Realistically, you've got a few options:
