“Fixing” sigil counter stacks

I've reported this as a bug already, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips.

I use a Sigil of Luck when trying to farm around. When the going gets tough, I'd like to switch to a Sigil of Corruption. Unfortunately, it seems like once I already have a counter for Luck and switch weapons to the Sigil of Corruption….. I continue to gain Luck counters. If I main-hand the Sigil of Luck weapon and off-hand the Corruption weapon – I gain only corruption counters.

The only way I know to fix this is to get knocked down or to fast travel – neither one is ideal.

Also, if any engineers are reading this, be aware that Kit/Turrent/Golem kills do not count toward sigils unless you get the last hit with the sigil weapon. :\

Sigil stacks are limited, you can only get stacks for one type at once. The way it SHOULD work is replace the stack with the new type, not keep adding to it.

No, if you read the description of the salvage kit, it tells you the percentage chance for it to recover upgrades. The best non-gem-store salvage kit has an 80% chance to recover items in sockets.

Here are all the salvage kits:

Crude        - "small chance"
Basic        - 20%
Fine         - 40%
Journeyman's - 60%
Master's     - 80%
Black Lion   - 100%

The Black Lion salvage kit can be bought from the gem store for 300 gems, and can also occasionally be found in Black Lion chests.

Does offhand sigil actives activate while using skills from the main hand

From playing with a dual dagger elementalist, ~~I believe that sigils which proc 'on critical hit' are tied to the weapons skills, so you're correct in assuming that the life stealing will only proc when using the first three skills.~~

Correction: According to this thread: http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/43566-weapon-sigil-questions/ Critical Hit sigils should fire regardless on the skill used, even utility skills, so as long as the weapon is equipped, the effects should be active.

I haven't used the 'on critical hit' sigils too much, as I tend to rely on the 'on weapon swap' sigils, so I could be wrong.
