I had a mystery gift code for a shiny Gengar in Pokemon X/Y that I used today.
I want a male Gengar, but after ~ 50 resets, I only had females ones. The nature and stats change every time, but the gender looks preset somehow.
Do you know which factors determine the gender for a mystery gift code?
The gender will be of normal Eevee distribution, which is to say 87.5% male, 12.5% female.
The final evolutions of Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie are:
Chesnaught: Grass / Fighting
Stats HP: 88, Attack: 107, Defence: 122, S.Attack: 74, S.Deffence: 75, Speed: 64
Delphox: Fire / psychc
Stats HP: 75, Attack: 69, Defence: 72, S.Attack: 114, S.Deffence: 100, Speed: 104
Greninja: Water / dark
Stats HP: 72, Attack: 95, Defence: 67, S.Attack:103 , S.Deffence: 71, Speed: 122
They all evolve at lv 16 then lv 36
For where they are located, they are all located at the second town with all of you friends at the start of the game

The gender is set when you receive the wonder card, whereas the nature and IVs are set when you receive the Pokemon from the npc.
You can't soft-reset for gender, but you can for nature and IVs.
P.S sometimes the gender is pre-set, so there's no way to get a different gender at all.
