I'm new to Space Engineers so apologies if this is a numpty question, but I've managed to enter a build mode for a part, and it's ghosting in front of me all the time as I move around, as shown below.
I've no intention or desire to build this object right now, so I'd like to stop it from showing in front of me all the time so I can get on with what I'm trying to do.
Can anyone suggest what I need to do to make it disappear?
The Steam Store page indicates that the game is available for Single-player or Multi-player so you should be able to play either way.
Also in the System Requirements it says that no Internet connection is required so you should be able to do offline mode.
Note the game is in Alpha and an Early Access Game on Steam. As with any of those, the game could change these requirements or really any other aspect of the game before release.
To charge your suit in Space Engineers, go to a medical room's terminal and hold T
Obviously, you have to be producing energy in order to charge it.
Your suit will also charge while you are sitting in the cockpit or any of its variants or passenger seats of a powered ship or station.

It's a glitch, which I've encountered plenty. What you want to do is put a part (any part) in your quickbar, switch to it, then switch to anything else (tools, empty hand, etc.) So far as I can tell, the game just kinda gets 'stuck' sometimes.
