I cannot pass the forest stage on Candy Box 2. The dogs and forest mosquitos kill me fast.
My stats and equipment are:
On another save I also increased my health to 1000 and still could not pass the forest stage, any advice?

Phew, finally finished it. WARNING! Huge spoilers ahead!
To open candy box you need to collect 4 marked stones: P,L,A,Y, as well as proceed to castle and defeat giant nougat monster to place this stones to tower.
After you place them on the tower, you will get talking candy, it's actually a key and end of the game - to get stones you need to (AFAIR):
Y
Y - defeat developer. You can take this quest from the dragon in the castle.
A:
A - defeat Devil in Hell. You can take this quest from the dragon in the castle.
L:
L - you can take this stone from the room in the castle with eggs. Use pogo stick and gravity potion, or unequip all of your weapons so you don't damage the eggs.
P:
P - from lighthouse puzzle, to get this quest you also need to talk with the dragon.
You reach the small island via the pier.
You unlock the pier once you have finished the cave.
Then click in "Go to the lighthouse by boat"

You should enchant your gloves by throwing chocolate bars into the well. Pink gloves are great for the forest (they give you health regen). Also, you should kill the monkey wizard in the cave for a better weapon. Enchanting and using his staff should make the forest level easy, especially if you already have 220 health.
The forest is a roadblock at first but if you can clear out the cave it'll be easy.
