When I'm doing a job for Roman, is there a way to increase the amount of cash earned?

These guys are collectively referred to as Random Characters and they appear across several GTA games, and a variation can be found in Red Dead Redemption as well.
Aside from the small monetary benefits, there are minor story elements here, as some of these characters are tangentially related to the main plot of GTA4. There is also an achievement for 100% completion, which some of these characters contribute to.
If you skip all of them, however, you're not missing out on anything critical.
For Grand Theft Auto IV, the option to see the SecuROM/GFWL Keys was removed (it should be under Force Quit on the top-right corner).
For Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City, all of the existing licenses were removed from Steam accounts so it is impossible to open the game (I purchased it on June 30, 2017, and is asking to purchase it again).
