I'm curious if Riven's passive-enhanced autos can critically strike, and if so, is does the critical bonus apply to the passive bonus damage, or is it more like Vayne's tumble where the bonus part does not get the critical damage modifier?

Bonus health means health gained from items / runes / masteries.
At level 18, Shen naturally has 1958 health*, so Ki strike bonus damage is equal to (Total Health - 1958)*.08.
*Shen suffers from a reduction in health due to the Inverse Ninja Law when Akali, Kennen, or both are on his team. This will reduce the base health of all involved by 1 or 2, giving Shen a range of base health from 1956-1958.
Critical strikes are not tracked separately, only your largest critical strike.
The summary screen breaks damage up into Physcial / Magic / True (though only the first two are tracked explicitly), but this has nothing to do with critical strikes.
So it crits for more damage... which is irrelevant as far as critical strikes are concerned. (And you'll be hard pressed to find a case where the 100 magic damage crits for more than your basic attack in the first place)

Riven's passive acts like an on-hit effect (it appears as a 2nd number next to her auto-attack damage), and it cannot crit. The auto-attack itself can crit normally, but won't affect the bonus damage from the passive.
