League-of-legends – Does riven ult do extra damage to low health baron

Bonus health means health gained from items / runes / masteries.

At level 18, Shen naturally has 1958 health*, so Ki strike bonus damage is equal to (Total Health - 1958)*.08.

*Shen suffers from a reduction in health due to the Inverse Ninja Law when Akali, Kennen, or both are on his team. This will reduce the base health of all involved by 1 or 2, giving Shen a range of base health from 1956-1958.

Killing Baron Nashor gives you the following:

a buff that lasts for 4 minutes that gives:

• 40 ability power
• 40 attack damage
• 3% of your maximum health in health regeneration per 5 sec.
• 1% of your maximum mana in mana regeneration per 5 sec.

it also gives 300 gold.

Compare that to a tower which only give 150 gold and i'd say getting nashors is worth it.

A baron kill alone doesn't necessarily turn a loss into a victory although it might help a lot. Because you gain a huge advantage in the next teamfight usually allowing you to ace their team and push.Or if that's not the case then you can usually push with your team and get 1 or more turrets tipping the game in your favor
