Does your team's level affect the amount of experience gained from a match on multiplayer in Mass Effect 3?
For example, If three people were significantly lower level than the fourth person, would there be any Exp or Credit penalty for anyone?
The reason I ask this is because it is the case in some RPG games. Do not forget ME3 is not only a shooter but an RPG too, and someone mentioned it as a possibility.
Based on how it worked in Mass Effect 2 and personal experience in ME3, enemies scale to levels, regardless of how the levels were acquired. As such, the answer to your question is yes and no. Compared to an unimported character at the same place in the campaign, it will be more difficult, but compared to an unimported character of the same level, it should be about the same difficulty.

I played through the first 15 minutes of the campaign twice, once with my imported ME2 character and then with a brand new character. Below is a spreadsheet with the amount of body shots I counted before the enemy died. All shots are from the starting pistol. Note that these are wild approximations - it's hard to count with friendlies firing as well, and I likely landed a few headshots without realizing it. Note: Both characters attained levels over the course of testing. No skills were spent on either, and only the character level at the start of each area is listed
As hypothesized, enemies on Earth were roughly the same difficulty (it was made as a basic tutorial). Once I reached Mars, though, the enemies seemed to take more body shots when Shepard was at a higher level.
Apparently, the final dialogue option of the game depends on your Paragon/Renegade score, and not just your overall reputation. And it does so in a rather strict way - you must have either gone 100% Paragon or 100% Renegade to unlock that option.
It doesn't make a huge difference to the story though, and every other option only depends on overall reputation, so it's not that big of a deal.

No, you gain XP as absolute values from every action. XP gained is not scaled by level in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer.
You can verify this by getting medals (always the same XP gained) or by killing enemies (the XP gained is based on how much of the enemy's HP you take out before the assist/kill). If you perform the same action on a level 1 and level 20 character you'll get the same XP.
Also, XP isn't "shared" in any way, except for some medals which give absolute values of XP to everyone. If a level 1 character and a level 20 character get different XP amounts it's because one of the characters performed more actions that gain XP, such as earning more medals or killing more enemies/assists.
