Minecraft for the Xbox 360 does have online voice chat enabled.
You can also create a party on Xbox live to voice chat with each other and then join the same hosted session in Minecraft.
Ok so to make purchases on the Xbox you can only use prepaid xbox cards, or pay directly using a credit card.
Mojang prepaid cards don't work on Xbox unless they have a Xbox symbol on them.

As of the current version (available Jul 8 '12), you cannot disable PVP (being able to hurt each other). Maybe in future updates they will change that and maybe even allow more server options like the PC version. Sorry that this is not what you wanted to hear.
