I have this world where I build everything, but lately I have been building in to another world. I only want to have one world, so I am asking if anybody knows how to transfer the things I built to a different world.
How can I copy part of one minecraft world to another?
If it makes a difference, I am playing on iPad.
The simplest mob grinder you can do is to use gravity to kill off the mobs.
Build a really tall hollow tower out of cobblestones with no windows. Make sure the hollow shaft is 2x2 wide so there is enough space for spiders to fall down as well as any other mobs. Make sure this shaft is built over something solid - stone, not sand, dirt or gravel. The reason this is all dark is so that the mobs will still spawn during the day as well as at night.
At the top of this tower create a large room, again with no windows. Something around 15x15 will do. Make it about 5 blocks high and keep a hole in the floor over the shaft so that you have a big dark room with a shaft in the middle. In theory the mobs will spawn in this big room, wander around and fall down the shaft, splatting on the ground and leaving a load of goodies for you to sweep up. Don't forget to add a door at the bottom of the shaft so you can get in there and grab it all.
Really that should be all you need. You can expand this idea however you fancy; underground grinders, multi-room grinders... however adventurous you want to go. Bear in mind though that Mobs will only spawn when you are near to them, so you should build a house near to your grinder, or at least hang around near it when you want to get stuff.
This is what I was trying to ask you before the moderator deleted my response, and since I don't 50 rep (Which is stupid) couldn't answer the question. You should be able to click on the top level tag like "Inventory" in this picture and then click the button at the top of the screen, circled in red. Then find your friends new character and paste this copied tag in with the paste button\located to the right of the copy. Hopefully this saves you some time move each individual item.
Try this program instead. You can copy the whole player folder and paste it.

I don't know how it works in MCPE but in the Java edition you can use a command to get a block that can save a structure. The command is "/give @s structure_block". Once you have done this you have to be in creative to export it but it will say something like Structure Block at the top, and on the left it will say 3D export, don't change that. The max size for saving is 323232 and it will only make a template in your survival world, not instant build. So type in the XYZ coordinates of the build in the GUI. And when you are saving an loading the name MUST be the same or it will fail. Not sure if you understand this but I hope you did.
