So, I'm starting to feel like I made the trip to Skuldafn woefully unprepared. I've managed to take down a fair number of the mobs that awaited me here, but I'm out of health pots and pushing the limits of my carry cap. Is there any way I can go home to sell my loot and re-stock, without having to re-load the game?

I've tried re-calling the guy that got me here, but he's not coming. Fast Travel seems to be disabled.

As far as I can tell, there's no way to leave Skuldafn until the quest is over.

Fast Travel is disabled from that location. Also, if you look at the map, you're really not anywhere on the map. Moving the map around, your location will seem to shift almost as if the marker is actually at a different height than the land where it seems to be located.

Additionally, you can not recall Odahviing to carry you home. You may use the shout, but he will not come.

So, it seems the only way to get out of Skuldafn if you can't handle the heat is to re-load from a point before you went to Skuldafn.

An Amulet of Talos will reduce the time between shouts by 20%. I believe this stacks with the +20% to shout recovery from shrines to Talos, which will knock a whopping 40% off your recovery time.

Sadly, you cannot disenchant the amulet and learn to make your own +Shout Recovery items.

Also the dragon mask Morokei (requires unofficial bugfix patch) adds another 20% getting you to 60%.

Expanding on my comment that there is no way to search for an item in the game*.

One answer is to use console commands to add the bow to a known merchant then manually buy back the bow from the merchant. You might want to do this with a merchant who is likely to have acquired the bow naturally though any merchant will do.

First you will need to find out what the FormID of the bow is. To do this you will need to load a previous save where you have the bow. Open the console and run:

ShowInventory

The bow will be listed with it's FormID being enclosed in brackets after the name.

1 - Item Name (FormID) (other stuff)

(I think you can also just drop the bow and left click on it?)

After you know the FormID load up your current save game and find the merchant you want to give the bow to. Open the console and left click the merchant, running:

AddItem FormID

Close the console and buy the item from the merchant as normal.

If you ever encounter the "real" bow then you should remove this from the game by selecting the merchant and running:

RemoveItem FormID

*The toolkit or a custom mod may add this, however they are not released as of this post.
