I have a friend I play co-op/competitive multiplayer with, and another I sometimes do local splitscreen multiplayer with. I would really like to be able to have the two of us locally in splitscreen connect with my friend over the internet – is this possible?
From what I've seen the 'splitscreen' and 'online' options are separate so I'm not sure how to go about this. Would creating a local splitscreen game and then inviting my online friend work?

Get each symbol to its position according to the Journal:
Eagle should be on Bottom row, middle square. Horse should be on Second from bottom row, leftmost square.
For the other two symbols, locate the reflective floor symbols around the room. Look how the light from your torch is reflecting on the floor there. The symbol changes depending on where you're standing. Use that to figure out where the other symbols should go. The solution is:
Bull should be on middle row, fourth square (from the left) Lion should be on fourth row from bottom, second square from left.
Back in 2013 when you wrote this, the DLC maps were all, as you've said, exclusive to the people who've bought them. So in order to play them you need to have EVERYONE in your match own the maps. Now, since Naughty Dog noticed this problem, they released all the DLC map packs for free. So, now when you play you are able to play with everybody. Anyone who hasn't yet downloaded the free maps will probably get them in a later update. Hope this helps!!! :)

Yes, you can play split-screen and online at the same time, just choose the Multiplayer option in the main menu and choose Play Online, when the online finishes loading, choose Splitscreen on the menu on the left and choose a profile for your buddy, he'll join your party and you'll be able to invite your third friend and play CO-OP.
