I have one PlayStation 3 with my main account in use. I'm planning on getting another PS3 in a few months and I will use my account of course. But first, I want to share that account with a friend. I know how the sharing accounts works on the PS4, but, for instance, if my friend and I use the account, how will I be able to use it in my new PS3 later? Do he has to erase the account on the PlayStation or how does it work on the PS3?

Yes, local accounts are those that exist - are/have logged in - on the same console, whether created there or elsewhere.
The Playstation Plus subscription is tied to the SEN account, but that account can specify a single PS4 console as its primary PS4, which enables other (non-PS+) accounts to access everything on the console.
So any account using that console (the one specified as the primary by at least 1 PS+ subsriber) can enjoy the benefits of PS+, when using that console. That includes multiplayer.
I assume though that multiplayer is not available to local accounts if you are online and playing multiplayer on someone else's console. That part isn't exactly clear. But your (non-PS+)family members / housemates could definitely play multiplayer on your console with only your PS+ subscription when you're not using it.

When you sign into your Sony Entertainment Network on a friend’s PS4 the system is temporarily activated on your account. Please ensure that you correctly sign-out of “PSN” on your friend’s system to keep your account secure.
If your “PSN” account is inactive on your friend’s PS4, the system will be deactivated automatically from your account and your friend will lose access to any of your downloaded content. This content can be deleted from their system hard drive by going to Image (Settings) > System Storage Management > Applications. Next, highlight the game to delete and press Options > Image (X button).

No. If you activated both PlayStation Plus memberships separately for you then your brother then the subscriptions will be concurrent on the system.
You would have had to have activated both cards on the same account for them to add on to one another.
As for the second part of your question. Normally the only time there is complementary time is when Sony runs trial promotions, or sometimes they bundle free time in with systems. If you add a purchased time to an account created with trial time the paid time is tacked on to the trial period. Eg, you sign up with a 30-day trial then 1 day into this you pay for a 3 month card and enter the code. You'll have 4 mos of PSN+ before it terminates.

Your friend has to create a new user on his PS3 (name doesn't matter) and connect to the PSN using your existing PSN account. He then has access to your download list and is able to download any game you bought. Once he deletes the user from his PS3 he is not able to play games downloaded via your PSN account anymore.
Unfortunately, since Sony changed the rules for sharing some time ago, you can only download any bought game on up to two consoles. So if you want to re-download your games on your new PS3 you first have to deactivate one of the two consoles currently activated for your account (i.e. your old PS3 or your friend's PS3).
To deactivate a system choose Account Management on the XMB. Go to System Activation > PS3 System > Game > Deactivate System.
