The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim – Serana Fighting Paarthurnax

I just completed the quest Alduin's Bane. Serana was my follower at the time.

My problem is that during the fight with Alduin, Paarthurnax must have accidentally damaged Serana or vice versa, and now that the fight is over they are fighting each other.

I am playing on PC so I will be able to use console commands.

How should I go about fixing this? I tried selecting Serana and typing 'resetai' and 'disable'/'enable' but she continues attacking Paarthurnax.

Update: I temporarily fixed the issue by reducing Serana's health to 0 and then fast travelling elsewhere. I wasn't able to see what would happen when she got back up but I will leave this question up anyway as I suspect that there would be a cleaner solution using console commands.

Select Serana and use the stopcombatcommand. Do the same to Paarthurnax. Be sure to not leave the console between running both commands.

This will remove their aggression state which should (hopefully) persist until their next altercation.

Paarthunax is a strong dragon, but gaining health? That I dont know. But if he does, kill him as fast as you can, use powerful weapons. Use a melee weapon and get ready to pull out ranged destruction spells or a bow. After that youll be able to kill him. If it doesnt, get stronger and try again.

Serana disappeared during dawnguard questline.

First of all, check Fort Dawnguard or Volkihar Keep (depends on whom you sided with), since that's where she should reappear when she gets lost.

Otherwise, if you're playing on PC, you can use the console to either teleport to Serana via

player.moveto xx002B74

or her to you via

prid xx002B74
moveto player

Note that the xx has to be replaced by a number, usually one of 01, 02, 03 depending on the DLCs installed. You can also use help Serana to figure out the correct value.

Should you be on a console instead of PC, you probably will need to convert the savegame to PC, ask a friend with the PC version to do the above, and convert it back. Make sure that friend activates exactly the same DLCs and mods though, otherwise the re-converted savegame might fail to load.
