I rather recently got a new phone, and it has all of the same information as my old iPhone. However, I had to completely start over on terraria because I can't get my world on my new phone. Keep in mind that on my old phone (which doesn't work), I didn't have the world on cloud save. I have Game Center set up and everything. Is there a way to recover this world?

Waterleafs should be pretty common. They show up regularly, across several worlds, in my game.
They appear as small sprouts, with a single leaf, and are much easier to miss then the other plants.
Try walking through your desert while spamming the attack button. If you miss them, you should still manage to pick them.
You will notice, in my picture, the farm is filled with water. In an older patch, filling the bed with water would force the plant to drop seeds. This has since been changed, and the plants will only drop seeds if it is raining. Regardless, if they are rare for you, it might be a good idea to set up a Waterleaf farm.strong text
If you haven't found a fix yet, then start the game with your backed up saves (player and world) and then go to your saved file in data/data/ and find your old save file(s) and delete the old ones, then go back into the game and save the game again. After restarting again, you should have everything renewed from this play, instead of the old saves.
Make sure you backup your backups first, this way you don't lose what you already have.

There are no ways to recover your world, unless it was on cloud save, or the old device is working.
If it was on cloud save:
Just download back your save.
If the old device is working:
Switch the save to a cloud save, or move the files of your save through a file management tool like iFunbox or iExplorer etc.

data/data/com.and.games505.Terraria/filesordata/data/com.and.games505.TerrariaPaid/filesYou'll need a root capable file explorer (and have your phone rooted) on both your devices in order to be able to access it.
If you have a backup of the old device:
Install that backup to a device (don't forget to backup that device first!), move the save files out of the device using a file management tool like iFunbox or iExplorer etc., then install the backup of the device you took before installing the backup, and move the save files back in.
