Has anyone else gotten a level called the Impostor? It's supposedly a food place but they only sell more Impostor products. Is it an error in the game or a temporary thing until a new level comes out? I had a bitizen with an Impostor dream job but I jettisoned him out the airlock weeks ago š

You can deliver a bitizen to any imperial level at any time they are in the elevator. If that imperial level is currently under construction, or it is making an item (filling an order), it will result in the wait time until completion being reduced by 1 minute.
As for the bitizen, the normal thing is the bitizen is gone forever (unless it is a special bitizen such as Luke or Leia or C3PO). This is the same fate as what happens to any bitizen "shopper" or residential visitor to your non-imperial levels.
The values for floors don't start according to a formula until you get to floor 12, which costs 12,150. Once you reach that floor, the formula is:
150 * (Floor # - 3) * (Floor # - 3)
So, for floor 12 (which is actually the 10th floor you build) , you'd come up with: 150 * 9 * 9 = 12,150
For floor 83, you'd come up with 150 * 80 * 80 = 960,000
I've verified this formula works for all floors from 12 to 83. Floors 3 through 11 appear to be random in how costs are calculated.
Also, random factoid, the amount of the increase increases by 300 for each level (after 12). So going from 12 (12,150) to 13 (15,000) is a 2,850 increase. Going from 13 (15,000) to 14 (18,150) is a 3,150 increase, which is the 2,850 (from 12->13) + 300.
Going from 14 (18,150) to 15 (21,600) increases by 3,150 + 300 for a total of 3,450.
I'm sure that's just a function of math in the original formula, but I thought it was a neat pattern.

The impostor levels always appear as food levels.
What has happened is the developer added new floors to the game, and the servers know about it, however your game client has not updated fully yet to know about the new level.
Usually force closing the game and reopening it will get the game client to complete the update, however in some cases you may need to go to the play store (or app store) to force the game client to update.
After you update everything marked as impostor will change to the real level the server wants you to have; this may change your level from food to something else.
