I recently made quite a few purchases in Assassin's Creed 3.
Specifically, weapons and outfits. The problem I'm currently facing, however, is that I cannot find any of them! I've checked every room in the Homestead, but my new toys seem to be hiding! No doubt they're terrified of blood.
Where are all of my purchased weapons and clothes hiding?
I literally just did this!
The clues are in a letter you find, and they are as follows:
UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCE-OBEY AND BALANCE THE MORAL LAW
THE GLOBE OVER
BE IT CHRISTIANITY OF THE WEST
BUDDHISM OF THE EAST
The BALANCE is represented by the scales of justice. The globe is the GLOBE, obviously. The cross symbolizes CHRISTIANITY, and the steering wheel is a symbol for BUDDHISM.
Based on the last two lines, Christianity is of the West, so the cross goes on the left. Buddhism is of the East, so the wheel goes to the right.
Then, for the first two lines, the moral law is to be obeyed under all circumstances, so the scales are on the bottom. Furthermore, the moral law must be obeyed all over the globe, so the globe is on top.
Only the three characters provided in The Battle Hardened Pack DLC (which is the DLC which adds the trophy) count towards this trophy: The Governor, The Highlander, and The Wild Coyote Man. Since they aren't labeled when selecting characters, here's an image of them:
The only mode out there that lets you choose one of them every time is Wolfpack mode. Playing in Manhunt or other team modes requires the team leader to select one of these three characters, which can get a bit frustrating. If you play Wolfpack with other players, you can always just let a teammate go attack a target and likely there will be others there that will stun him and run off, then you can swoop in for the revive.

You change into your purchased finery and equip those fabulous weapons in the same place you bought them, i.e. any peddler. Once bought, you simply click equip on the item and you will be wearing it. This also works for the various found items as well.
You can also change into a selection of outfits and weapons in the basement of the Manor after the end of the game. For some reason, before then the basement will show the outfits but not allow you to equip them. You browse the outfits by approaching the case directly behind the training dummy and the weapons are located in the bottom of the L on the same level.
