I've got an issue with Einstein Activity Capture. All emails captured from collaborators who have standard permissions (meaning not the "view all data" privilege) aren't shared by default – despite the fact that in Setup, default sharing is turned on (in the Einstein Activity Capture) tab, and in their private email settings, sharing is turned on as well.
Am I missing something in the permission set possibly? Where would I start looking?

Einstein Activity Capture uses a different database so it appears standard objects may not be covered.
After several calls with Salesforce's support, we were told it's just not possible to have Einstein Activity Capture log the emails as Task or EmailMessage objects, and that all emails go to a different database once Einstein Activity Capture is enabled.

As of 2020, Salesforce High Velocity Sales (HVS) has a feature called Einstein Call Coaching that does take call recordings.
Einstein Call Coaching is a new feature available for sales managers that offers the ability to see insights and trends surfaced from sales calls. Calls are recorded and analyzed for mentions of specific keywords and phrases. From voice call records, managers can play call recordings and see call details, including the talk-to-listen ratio.

From the screenshot you have provided, it seems that you are using the Side Panel that is available either in Outlook or Gmail.
The reason why the New Contact button is not showing there is perhaps you have multiple Record Types available for the Contact Object. To move forward, you can visit your New Contact from Global Actions (in Setup) and make sure the Record Type field isn't set to Master (select a particular Record Type to be used).

Each user needs to switch their private Einstein Activity Capture settings to "Only Me" and then back to "Share with Everyone". Seems to be a glitch.
