[SalesForce] How to hide filter buttons in Einstein (wave) Analytics dashboards
Description:
Einstein Analytics dashboards integrated into Lightning Pages with filters, come with 'Modified' and '+X filters' buttons on top (see image below).
Question:
Is there any way to remove or disable them?
Best Answer
You can uncheck Show Header on the Lightning Page, Wave Dashboard component. This removes the header bar which has the Filters component.
If your filter is set at the dashboard, rather than added on the Lightning Page, you can also Lock a global filter at design time. Locked can be set either through the Dashboard Designer if using the Filter panel or directly in the JSON.
I managed to get two columns side by side with the actual data. Here I use SAQL statements to load the data and transform it into two sets (targeted revenue and actual revenue) then union both sets while setting the null values to 0, lastly order them by year and sum of values of both sets side by side. Additional steps require use of 'stacked column' charts while keeping year on the horizontal axis, sums in vertical axis and stacking the values by status (high, medium, low) and setting the axis mode to 'single'. Final data table looks like this.
