How to get past the laser detectors in the mission Searching for Proof

Find the basketball hoop on the Detroit Streets zone and pick up the basketball from the ground with E. Aim at the hoop. Left click to throw. Repeat many times until successful.

This is a throwback achievement to the original Deus Ex where you could play basketball in the very same manner. As far as I can remember, there was a message that showed up when you scored.

In an attempt to hit the basket, try this: position yourself behind the center of the concrete barrier in the back left section of the court. Point straight at the center of the rim, then tilt upwards until you're pointing at the red line around the outside of the backboard. I've be able to consistently make it with this configuration.

1. You can be detected by these people and still get the reward for being sneaky. As long as they don't go Hostile, you're fine.

2. You can make this jump without the leg aug, but you need the Punch Through Walls aug to go this way. This also involves snapping a guy's neck and will ruin a pacifist playthrough. Also throwing a grenade at the wall works, and only knocks the guy unconscious., or you could just use the ventilation ducts attached to the wall...

3. As before, if they don't go Hostile, you are fine.

The game will tell you if you fail the sneaky objective.
