I have a widescreen display so Morrowind looks skewed in fullscreen mode.
However, If I start it in windowed mode, it is drawn slightly off screen, with the top being above the boundary of my screen.
Since the game also steals the keyboard and mouse from the OS, I can't seem to move it nywhere. I already searched for some methods of moving an off-screen window, this for example, but none work for this reason.

It is part of the main quest in Ashlands:
The eye of the needle refers to a tall rock column in the Valley of the Wind. The skin of the pearl refers to a pale rock on the very top of the column. The teeth of the wind refers to Airan's Teeth, two rock spires marking the entrance to the Valley of the Wind. The spires are named after a seer, Airan, who was blessed by Azura. The valley is on the northeast slope of Red Mountain in the center of the island. The mouth to the valley is just east and south of the Daedric Shrine of Zergonipal, which should now be marked on your world map. The last clue refers to the star which is actually Azura's Star that is only visible at dawn and dusk (6 to 8 am and pm).
What it boils down to is that a door at the base of the needle will be open only during the dawn and dusk hours. To reach it, start at Falasmaryon and head towards the Daedric Shrine of Zergonipal and just east of it you should find two parallel valleys leading towards the south. Take the one to the east, marked by two tall rock spires (Airan's Teeth). Walk all the way to the end of the valley, and wait for the correct time for the door to open.
A quicker and easier way to get there would be to start from Tel Vos and just hike over the mountains to the west. If you go directly west, you should wind up midway through the Valley of the Wind. Simply follow it south the rest of the way.
If it is anything like the color issues that Age of Kings has with Win 7 64 bit, you could try going to the Task Manager and ending the explorer.exe task, and then going back into the game.
With Age of Kings, you could start the game, ALT-TAB back to Windows, open the task manager and end process on explorer.exe you will lose all the Windows toolbars and things when you do it, but you can then ALT-TAB back into the game and the colors should be fixed. (In Age of Kings the graphics errors made the water bright purple.)
If you leave the task manager up, once you are done with the game you can just go to run and type explorer.exe to get Windows back up again.

There's this program called ShiftWindow that I use to move windowed games on my screens when the normal ways do not work. I've written a more detailed answer about it already, but the basic idea is that you select the program, set the coordinates (or select target display) and hit "Trigger it". It has worked fine for me in Windows 8 and I see no reason why it wouldn't work in 7.
