There are no current, directly codified, effects of old age.
However. There are several spells and other effects that do cause you to age prematurely. The Monk would be immune to these. There are also basic guidelines on how the races age and when they become adults/typically die.
For an example of a monster capable of aging a creature, we have the Ghost who can cause aging of 1d4 × 10 years with one of their features. While there are no direct effects, the DM can very well rule that this kind of effect would cause you to no longer be an effective adventurer.
As GMNoob points out, we may find out the mechanical effects of aging in the DMG, but largely, these will be left to the DM's discretion.
Timeless Body does not stop your natural aging
The text on Timeless Body says:
Timeless Body
At 15th level, your ki sustains you so that you suffer none of the frailty of old age, and you can't be aged magically. You can still die of old age, however. In addition, you no longer need food or water.
As a monk, they simply suffer "none of the frailty of old age," which means even as old people, they can still move like they were in their 20's. This makes sense when you consider the amount of old monks who can do flawless kung fu in media. They usually serve as mentors to the younger folk so that their secret techniques don't die with them.

In conclusion: Timeless Body still lets you age, and you may still die of old age naturally. However, due to your timeless body, you don't get the back pain or blurry vision that comes with senescence.

Timeless Body is what Wizards of the Coast has called a "Ribbon", i.e. a neat ability with mostly story, rather than mechanical, applications. Another ribbon ability is the rogue's Thieves' Cant, though that has more obvious benefits to the campaign at large.

I can't think of many things that interact mechanically with timeless body. It wouldn't be unreasonable to rule that it also reduces aging from various mechanical effects, like Wild Magic Surges or potions of longevity, but aside from those edge cases, which are arguably subject to ruling anyway, the ability's mostly for fluff.
In story, I can see it causing very old archdruids running around the setting.
