As an Jedi Shadow I got the ability Phase Walk.
I can place the ability on the ground and it leaves a marker. I can run away from it, and when I use the ability I get transported to that marker. If I spec tank it places a larger mark on the ground which gives a healing buff.
My question, are enemies able to see the marker I place on the ground?
If you want to make sure you got all the datacrons on a specific planet, look at the Codex entry for that planet and then click on the magnifying glass. It shows your progress on that planet, including how many of the datacrons you have:
As for the rewards from datacrons, it seems it's only stats boosts and matrix shards, but I can't say that for certain.
You can buy another color crystal on the Republic (or Imperial) fleet. Use your map, click the Vendors button to show vendors, and look for the Pre-order Crystal Vendor tucked in a corner along the outer circle.

Yes. I just tested this in my Stronghold with an opposite-faction player. We could both see each other's Phase Walk marker (both the DPS dot and the Tank circle), whether flagged/dueling or not.
